We care about you
We care about our people and helping them go further in achieving their ambitions and understand that everyone has different career aspirations as well as lives outside of work.
Support when you need it
As well as an impressive breadth and depth of experience, we'll provide the support and development opportunities for you to gain the knowledge and skills you need to become a trusted adviser with a strong understanding of business. You’ll be learning on the job as well as taking part in training, which starts with your orientation – an immersive look into our business, vision, and purpose.
We know that life as a trainee can, at times, be intense, with periods of study leave and exams to fit alongside work but we are here for you. Your people manager will be regularly checking in to see how you’re developing and make sure you’re growing in the ways you want, and we’ll also cover the cost of your exams and give you paid study leave too. We have over 40 trained Mental Health First Aiders, ready to listen, reassure and respond to colleagues when they need it.
Hear from some of our current, and past, trainees about how they found the balance of studying alongside working full time.
Reward and benefits
Our reward and benefits are designed to create an environment where our people can flourish. We are committed to building a culture where our people have access to the necessary benefits to help promote a healthy lifestyle and thrive.
Besides a competitive salary, you'll receive our core benefits including, life assurance, income protection and private medical cover plus access to a range of voluntary benefits to choose from focused on health, family and wellbeing.
Our range of voluntary benefits allows to you to make choices that are right for you. Whether that’s a pension, making use of the shopping gateway for discounts, using the bike4work scheme or additional health benefits or accessing mortgage and financial advice, you can choose the benefits that work for you.
We value and respect difference within our firm and have an inclusive and flexible approach to bank holidays, allowing our people to choose when they take their public holidays throughout the year. We want to support our people in celebrating holidays and occasions that are important to their religion, ethnicity, culture heritage or other parts of their identity and this is just one way we do this.
How we work
We believe in creating an environment which helps you to thrive in, and outside of work. Our framework for how we work outlines our approach to agile working allowing us all to make the right decisions for us, you, and the business. As a trainee you will benefit from spending time in the office, learning from peers and more senior colleagues but we understand that you may need to have some flex in your day as well, and our approach to how we work allows you to make these decisions.
We work hard to ensure we’re a forward-thinking employer, leading the way with policies such as our flexible bank holidays, and our managers and leaders are people you can believe in, and who listen to you.
