We show the way
As a responsible business, we don’t just think about ourselves or what we’re working towards today. We play our part in shaping the world we want for tomorrow.
And you can help us. By getting involved in any number of the ways we’re giving back to society, you can take an active role in creating a more sustainable planet and better communities for everyone.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Step into the classroom and share your skills
Through our School Enterprise Programme you can inspire 11-13 year olds, helping to build their financial literacy, and encouraging them to develop new entrepreneurial skills. Once you join as a trainee you could also help Year 12 students to become career ready through our Interview Skills initiative.
Students all over the UK are learning key skills through this programme, which gets them to set up and run their own micro-businesses. Any profits they generate are invested in microfinance loans to support entrepreneurs in the developing world.
See what the students and teachers at St Michael’s College, Bermondsey, thought about their experience of our School Enterprise Programme.
Help refugees develop employability skills
We work with Breaking Barriers to help refugees find meaningful employment and integrate successfully into UK life and culture. We offer six-month work placements to help refugees build employability skills and run workshops on confidence building, effective networking, and presentation skills. You can read Awais story of his placement and employment on our corporate website.
By helping to mentor people on their placements or supporting at a workshop as trainee, you can be part of helping refugees increase their confidence and find meaningful work.

Protecting our planet
If you’re committed to tackling the climate crisis, you can help us do the same. Our goal is to reduce our carbon emissions by 13% by 2023. This means changing both the way we operate and behave.
By becoming an Environmental Champion, you can drive this change across our business and help reduce the impact we have on the environment in each of our key areas: waste, energy, travel and paper.
Invest in global entrepreneurs and change lives
To grow their businesses, entrepreneurs in the developing world need ready access to safe finance. Microfinance offers easy and affordable loans when traditional banking is simply not available.
From pig farmers to pineapple growers, microloans help individuals work themselves out of poverty. Like your colleagues, you can invest in entrepreneurs in the developing world and help create a sustainable future.
Support your local community
You can get involved in the many ways we fundraise for charities. And we also support local communities by offering our time, skills and expertise.
Whatever cause you care about we’ll back you to support it. Our Matched Funding Scheme will add to any individual fundraising you do.
