We show the way

Our ESG framework

Our ESG framework enables responsible, sustainable, and ethical operations. We prioritise the environment, our broader societal impact, and our firm's governance to protect the planet, foster inclusivity and wellbeing, support our communities, and bolster our firm's resilience. Our Sustainability Leadership Group (SLG) enables positive change in our business and engagement in our environmental and community impact agenda.

Environment and climate

We’re committed to minimising our environmental impact and achieving Net Zero, taking action to address our carbon footprint and we have set  SBTi-validated targets as follows:

  • We’ll reduce our scope 1 and 2 emissions 70% by 2030 from our 2019 baseline
  • We’ll reduce business travel and commuting emissions 50% by 2030 from our 2019 baseline
  • By 2027, 55% of our suppliers’ emissions will have science-based targets
  • We commit to reaching Net Zero (reducing our emissions by at least 90%) by 2045 from a 2019 baseline

Small changes making a big impact

We prioritise supporting our employees with reducing their carbon impact, promoting sustainable practices, and raising awareness about single-use plastics and travel choices. We’ve added environmental considerations into both our travel policy and our sustainable property guidelines for all office moves.

To ensure accurate reporting and data management, we’ve established robust processes and a greenhouse gas emissions dashboard to monitor our performance annually including a comprehensive carbon dashboard to monitor exact reductions.

Our strategic leadership team (SLT) oversees our environmental governance, monitors progress, and reviews climate-related risks and opportunities. Our partnership governance board holds the SLT accountable for ESG metrics and targets, including climate-related ones. And our risk and audit committee oversees climate-related risks and activities under the environmental strategy.
